Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Sports bars fill up on game nights and often run pizza-and-pitcher specials; diners and fast-food chains keep long hours, sometimes around the clock. Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rochester follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We got carry out for the first time and it was a brilliant idea!! We ordered the family meal and have been enjoying it for days now for lunch. This is our favorite food to eat when we visit Rochester and now we may have to order it again as soon as we arrive to enjoy during the first few days of our trip here! We will likely go back to eat in as well and take a walk around the neighborhood as we also love to do.

Our server, larina V was exceptional. Gave us great menu ideas, was friendly and on point throughout our meal. I've been to the one in NYC and the food is just as good. The greens were definitely not from a can. Really good flavor loved the smoked turkey that its seasoned with. Mac n cheese was cheesy and flavorful. Love the smoked wings. I wish i could take this restaurant back to south Carolina with me. I highly recommend this restaurant if in the area or if you have to drive to areayou won't be disappointed.

Me, Sherri, and Max headed in not knowing what to expect, but Casey greeted us right away, got our drinks started, and then handed us off to Kelly — who was absolutely outstanding the entire night. My wife is a full‑on veggie person, and Kelly didn’t just accommodate — she problem‑solved. She suggested the vegetable sandwich without cheese or bread, paired it with apple sauce and the tomato‑cucumber salad, and both sides were excellent. Since I’d never been here before, Kelly recommended the three‑meat plate. I went with brisket, ribs, and wings, plus mac and cheese and Cajun corn. Every single item was amazing — perfectly cooked, great flavor, and generous portions. Max wasn’t sure what to order, and Kelly took the time to explain each option, even warning him that one dish wouldn’t work because of the spice level. He ended up getting the brisket cheesesteak and fries, and devoured all of it… along with some of my ribs. We finished with coffee and the fried cherry pie. Kelly actually went into the back and looked up the in‑house recipe to confirm there were no nuts — that kind of extra step is what separates “good” from great. This place delivered across the board, and we can

Great BBQ spot with a lot to love! The smoked meat was the highlight, perfectly cooked with rich, smoky flavor. The macaroni and potato salad were also standouts, both packed with delicious flavor. I really enjoyed the coleslaw as well; it was fresh and complemented the meal nicely. The chicken wasn’t quite my favorite, and I found the cornbread could have been a bit softer with a little more flavor. That said, the overall experience was very positive, especially with the amazing view adding to the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the mood for solid BBQ!

I was in Rochester for the evening and the hotel said that this was pretty much the only place available for food. I decided since that was my only option to try it out and I have to say I was very impressed. This is the best food that I've had in a long time. If you have the opportunity to stop by Dinosaur Bar-B-Que you, you should definitely come. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the amazing food, you will not be disappointed.
